Photo Engraving

Photo engraving is exactly what it sounds like, it gives you the ability to engrave images onto permanent media with incredible detail. Imagine being able to take that memory from a special photograph and engrave it into stone so it can be passed down for generations. It is one of the most meaningful and sentimental gifts that you can give someone. They'll know that you didn't go to a store and buy them a gift. It is something that you obviously put a lot of thought and planning into. It is ideal for someone who has everything and is very difficult to buy for. A photograph of their wedding day from 40 years ago engraved into a wooden photo album. A memorial for a loved one or family pet, portraits, sporting events, a new baby, your best friends muscle car, the ideas go on and on. The photo on the left is an

Photographs can be engraved onto several different types of substrates including; marble, granite, wood, glass, acrylic, cork, leather, and many others. Absolute black marble and granite are the most popular choices because of the stunning contrast they give. Red Alder is a popular choice when matching a home or office with wood trim. Images engraved in wood are almost three dimensional because of the material that is removed during the engraving process.    

The images below are an example of one of our memorial pieces. The background on the orignal image was "polluted" and not suitable for a memorial piece. The artist removed the undesirable area and focused in on the individual. The results are shown below.
